Back in 2006 when I was still only making solo music under the Janszoon monicker, I found myself working on several tracks that were much more soundscape/sound collage in nature and which really didn't fit in with the poppier style of Janszoon, as a result Low Lit Art was born. Low Lit Art songs are mostly based on the idea of storytelling through abstract sound. My process involves creating some kind of story idea for each track or group of tracks and then attempting to tell the story through mood and sonic texture.

6.25.09 (mastering)

The big news in the Low Lit Art camp right now is that the first full length is done and just in the mastering stage. It looks like I may have something lined up for an online release, but more news will be forthcoming.
